A Bit About Me

Born in 1957 in the charming enclave of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, I have dedicated my life to the pursuit of passion in the realm of arts and history. Educated at the prestigious Art School Luxembourg, I have built a multifaceted career as an Art and Antique Expert, a Counselor for Historic Property Restoration, a Painter, a Non-Fiction Author, and a Historical Thriller Novelist.

My career spans over four decades, during which I have become a respected authority on art and antiques in Luxembourg. Working as a counselor for historic property restoration has allowed me to preserve numerous cultural treasures, melding my artistic sensibilities with a profound respect for history.

My literary journey began in earnest in 1975 when I won the first prize of the French Embassy to Luxembourg for an essay on Jean-Paul Sartre’s "La Nausée." This accolade marked the beginning of a lifelong love affair with words. I honed my craft through workshops at WRITER'S DIGEST UNIVERSITY in Blue Ash, Ohio, and through interactions with renowned authors like James Patterson and Paula Munier.

Influenced by my parents' passion for cultural diversity, I grew up in an Anglo-American neighborhood. Extensive travels across Europe have helped me learn to speak five different languages. Today, I reside with my wife and our beloved dogs on a historic estate in the picturesque South Eifel hills of Germany.

For a bit of fun, when I'm not writing gripping historical thriller novels or restoring a centuries-old property, you might find me joyfully assisting my dear wife with a new recipe, tinkering with my latest vintage car acquisition, or simply enjoying a peaceful walk with our dogs.
